  1. Still looking to buy a 4x4 Comanche. Searching Craigslist, Ebay, and random google searches. I'm seeing a lot of RWD's, some rock crawlers, and more than enough on their last leg salvage title 10 hours away trucks. I saw a 4 cylinder 4x4 with a little body damage 4 hours away. I would really like a 6 cyl, shortbed 4x4, the only thing on that list that is not negotiable is 4x4. First question. What is your opinion on an 86 4x4 4 cyl with 153109 miles? I want a vehicle I can take on jeep trails, travel to trailheads for backpacking, making trips to home depot. Would this have the guts to do this?
  2. Unfortunately I have to sell my dear truck, I wanted to restore it to like new condition but oh well. I'm hoping you guys can help me figure out what I should ask for it, KBB.com only goes back to '93 so doesn't cover the Comanche. It's located in Southern California's San Fernando Valley in the town of Northridge. Overall it's in good shape and drives well, these are its deficiencies: Needs painting Minor rear engine oil seal leak Right rear brake grabs before the others Rear bumper bent Left panel of rear window broken Driver's seat belt is funky, doesn't roll up well so catches in door and sometimes doesn't latch into its buckle easily or well It has new windshield glass but the bozos who replaced it broke the clips holding the trim so the trim is off it.
