  1. Hello to you all, I just joined the forum as past week at last I got my first Comanche, it is a 1990 Pioneer 2WD, manual and short bed that is in pretty good condition, I looked for a 4WD for a long time without luck so I decided to get this one. Now here comes the opportunity to get a 1988 4x4 Pioneer long bed that is in not so good shape, lots of parts missing and the ones that are present are so bad that restoration would take a lot of money and time, so my question to you is could I get to strip the 4x4 parts from the 1988 long bed and swap them into the 1990 short bed, most of them at least? The nice 1990 is a manual and the bad 1988 is now manual but the owner is pretty sure it was an automatic before, by the way the 4x4 is not working right now, I think the front shaft is missing, both are 4.0l 6cyl. What do you think, can I get a sweet deal getting the 1988 for parts or should I keep looking? Any advice will be kindly appreciated...
