A couple weeks ago my intermittent setting pickup up a quirk, that is when I switched into intermittent, instead of 1 swipe first, I got 2 or 3, but from that point it worked normally. I didn't care much since other than a couple extra swipes all was good. Yesterday I turned on the wipers, and now I can't turn them off other than putting the key in the off position. They seem to be stuck in the intermittent position and it appears with the long delay setting. I suppose it could also be that they are not actually in the intermittent position, but are emulating that setting. Either way, they are always on. The washer activation seems to still work normally. My control stalk feels like it is bad for sure, so I have ordered a replacement. (Link to other post) but I am starting this thread to specifically document this issue since I was not able to find it here. And if the new stalk fixes it, this will be a short thread (and that would be the outcome I prefer). I'll update once the new stalk gets here as to what that outcome is! My 1990 has the tilt column and cruise control. The switch I ordered is the one off Amazon that was posted here by @pizzaman09 in topic https://comancheclub.com/topic/74420-cruise-control-switchstalk-can't-find-one/#comments

Hey guys, new member here! If this has already been answered somewhere then I apologize, I have not been able to find it! So I’m trying to figure out if the flexplate follows the engine year or the transmission year. I’ve got a ’91 MJ, 4.0, auto, 2wd, column shift, short bed, etc. I recently grenaded a wheel bearing and ruined a spindle, so decided to go ahead and do a 4wheel swap. I bought an almost exact 1990 Comanche but 4x4 and worse body to part out. In doing some research I noticed flexplates are listed by ’87-’90 then ’91-’00. Both seem to have the same specs (164 teeth, 13.83” OD, 12-14 pitch) but have two different part numbers, different weights, and two very different prices. So if I’m using the 1990 transmission/transfer case but keep the 1991 engine, which flexplate do I need to use?? Thank you in advance!

Update 07-12-13: I have abandoned this project due to the amount of work needed to fix the cowl panel and floors. I am in the process of moving from Cancun to Indiana. I purchased a 1990 eliminator 4x4 in Indiana and the suspension parts, cooling system and some misc. parts I am taking with to put on my eliminator in Indiana. Ok it is time to start showing the world my build. My MJ started its life out as a 1990 sport truck 2x4 4.0L Automatic. Here is the list of what is being done and what is hopefully going to be done. I have been slowly working on this truck for just over a year now so there is a ton of updates and information. Powertrain 1995 Chevrolet Blazer 4.3 Vortec (Intake modified with the marine version MPFI) 4L60E from the same blazer Transfer case is a mix from a blazer front cover (was electronic shift) now manual shift with jeep internals and jeep np231 rear cover SYE conversion. Front axle HP Dana 30 Rear soon to be 8.8 Suspension Rough Country 6.5" SOA conversion Hope do to the long arm conversion in the future Will have 33x12.5r15 Thornbird tires I am actively looking for a 97+ XJ to do the conversion on the interior and front end. On to the pictures
