Merci l'ami! Ton noir va etre assez ca coche ....Loll Some of you will maybe disapointed!!! My wife wating for a baby, she have 5 months done.** So i had to cut the MJ long box and weld shorter at the front of rear wheels of the box, to buy a Toyota king cab, cut the XtraCab end of cab , cut the end of MJ rear cab, weld the toy XtraCab on it along with align and weld the box, and it became an MJ king cab short box... :) :) :) Just Joking, but want my copyright dues on that ;) Lollll **So, I'm in the need of a car :( or a SUV :( or a king cab pick-up truck :) :) . That's why i had to sell Project MJ black that had AMC360 power train GM12 bolts+44 axls, none of mecachanic installed, and i kept ALL lether black Pioneer interior complete and unbroken and sold all the project for 500$, and MJ green always with automatic tranny 8'' lift w. brand new rancho shocks for 2,500$ , all that to buy that king cab pick-up truck. It is a Chevy 1992 2500HD, king cab step side, diesel 6.5L(396 Detroit) manual 5(L123OD) NV4500 transmission, 4x4 FULL EQUIPED, with Rancho 8'' full kit and 35'' BF all terrain. That mean that i have to 3'' lift the body to fit 39.5'' without cutting anything...??? Anyway, that is for personal daily use offering space for baby easy on the back seat and safe for family. Let the winter doing its part, after that will have an MJ red to swap the unmatched interior trim for black pioneer interior! Some pick of that MJ will follow as i work on it! See you soon all of you ;)

Front and rear suspension levelled and achieved, 8'' lift. Only 4 shocks to buy...
-
Last job before winter... I am right not about to swap this MJ green auto tranny for 5spd AX-15. I had install 8'' lift rough country front coil springs, shocks coming next... It will be my winter beater in the snow daily drive.
-
Front levelled by 2.25'' coil spacer, added to 4'' coil springs, to match the rear. Ready for the next ride!
-
A D44 left unused out there, and decided to put it under right now.

After 2 off-roading deep in the mud... something finally broke... the 4 bolts retaining U-strap at the universal joint rear yoke. Surprise that the casing of the slip y0ke did not broke; Only 4 bolts and lost 2 bearings of the universal joints, ... and a yoke that have 4 bolts broken in!

I'd never said that i want to built a show room condition... ... but Grey/Tan/Black interior will be good for me for a while ! It don't miss any parts, and nones are broken, that is the most important for me a this time  The first drive at all... half turn around the house... so slowly because drive shaft to short  and... no break lines at all ! It forward, it reverse, it turns, it do not leak anything and don't puff, that is the important at this time for me. Next week-end for breaks and driving shaft... :wavey:

Helper's side, have to open to fix tranny cross member bolts. On the driver's side, don't have to cut anything to fix the bolts ;) 0.030 mm galvanized From an amateur, shure :help: But...already done ! :clapping:

All of your bushings will thank you if you cut the spring perches off the axle and move them to the proper MJ positions. That is a fact. Thank you !
-
Bolt-on ! Will have to weld shock brakets on diff ! Image Not Found Will have to weld a new drive shaft to... rear is 3'' short ! Next step tomorrow...

:dunno: After one week looking around , i finally found what i need, and so helfull for anybody don't knows, there is MJ broken leaf packs, with Ford Explorer packs. The specs that i pesonnally go with : MJ = 55'' eye-to-eye, center bolt at 31 - 24, arch at 7'' by 2.5'' The closer i got, is from a Ford Explorer = 6.5'' eye-to-eye, center bolt at 31.5-25,arch at 6'' by 2.5'' I confirm that the specs taken from 4'' lift, and that the Ford Explorer stock lift an MJ 4'' bolt-on. Only have to drill a bigger hole into the leaf bracket and to grind the center bolt's nut to be round, and zip-zap, 2 brad new leaf spring pack... Levelled to the front 4'' lifted
-
New radiator. Front end, not new  come from cherokee 4x4 donnor Have done 1/3 of driver floor, pics next time :waving:
-
Pivot braket for 4x4 lever, because ''ex- RWD'' ;) , have to drille but there is marks on the floor, exactly where it have to be...
-
Now we can say that is a 4x4 !! Up-next : Repair the smash on the frond and install the front parts, Change rad, install the rear leaf spring packs, All the break lines, plate driver's floor, install seats and interior trims, and... finally... install drive shafts... And of course, GAZOLINE ;) I want to go off-roading in the mud with this one, ASAP, will i for next sunday?? Have a nice week...
-
2x4's last thing is out! I have to remove ALL braket to swap CJ leaf springs to coil springs... Tomorrow i will bolt the XJ front axl at its place !
-
Right now i am on the finish of MJ red, waiting for leaf springs packs. I will post updated pics as it came next... YOU WANTED PICS, YOU GOT PICS! :chillin:

Bought ths 1977 CJ7 with AMC360 manual 3 Spd last winter, gentilly sleeping in the drive way since. Taken his '' heartbeat''... ...For right upnext the red finished, giving a second life to him, as a trail mud tow truck.
-
Get the cancer out of that :waving: To recycling metal, along with his 2wd tranny. I have one that i run and know since a year, don't smoke, don't leak didn't burn oil, and going offroading in the mud A LOOOTA TIMES... Now in a new body ! along with his tranny and t-case. With the Axls of an XJ...
-
I had to cross last winter driving that thing :dunno: Some kind a boat, okay, but plenty of good reasons ! 1 owner, NEW TRANNY, and basically to hunt twice a year all it's life. That is the manual tranny w all the kit that i needed to swap a green MJ Automatic. That is what unfortunatly became, 4x4 train for an MJ red, and bonus; rides my a..ss for nothing all winter long, and leanable. XJ 1988 4.0L 5spd 4x4, mecanic extra great shape, except for the shocks !!!
-
This one bought on last january, but picking-up on may, because not good wheter with lot of snow to go 1,000 Km from home at that time. Brand new body Job, 4.0L HO from a cherokee 99 that have 80,000Km, with all the wirering A1 profesionnaly done, long box AUTOMATIC 4x4, that i have planned to swap for manual tranny before next winter. ... and to lift up the front to match the rear SOA. Exceptinally great shape
