Just trying to make sure I get the pictures right before I put it in the classifieds

Engine oil. So far I've installed a valve cover gasket and replaced all of my PCV/CCV breathers and tubes. That took care of the blowby and most of the oil dripping (see the cardboard under the engine). The oil filter adapter is next. I bought my Comanche just to have a truck but like everyone says--they are addictive.

This is a D44 right? I bought this truck last Fall and have slowly been taking care of some things that needed attention. I've assumed all along that it was a D35 since it is pretty much bone stock. I've been thinking about getting a locker for it (for snow and light trails) and figured I'd better double check so I crawled under the rear-end and kept thinking that doesn't look right. I finally found the comparison picture on the Yahoo site and was surprised that mine matches the D44. Just want to double check before I order anything. Sorry the picture isn't great--I snapped it at lunch and I'm in my work clothes so I couldn't get very close.

I posted this on the Yahoo group and didn't get a response. Can someone help me out? I was able to pick up a 1992 factory service manual on ebay. I have a 1991 Comanche. My understanding is that there are few differnces between the 91 and 92 so this manual should be okay right? The 92 was used so I saved some money compared to the 91. Just wanted to check in case there was anything major I should be aware of. Thanks. Bill
