  1. Hello. I am in need of spider gears to replace the ones I blew up in my dana 35. I could do with just the gears but if someone has the whole setup with the shaft and all that would be great. Let me know what you have. Thanks.
  2. Yeah, I think I will post up an ad in the classified for a little bit and maybe go look at the junkyards around my area. I really don't want to get into doing an entire axel swap with welding new perches on and such. I kind of just want to get it back together and send it down the road. I already have some people interested in the truck so the sooner I get it done the faster the money is in my hand. Thanks for the help.
  3. Well, all I need to do is get this truck back together. Once that is done I am putting it up for sale right away to go towards a different truck. If I could get used parts I would be completely fine with that. I just need to find the right ones.
  4. Hi. I blew my spider gears apart in my differential and have it all torn apart right now ready to buy a new set. I am confused on which set to buy? They are the (non) c-clip version. I am confused because I was ready to buy this kit right here made by crown: http://www.4wheelparts.com/Drivetrain-Differentials/Standard-Differential-Spider-Gear-Set.aspx?t_c=12&t_s=514&t_pt=7961&t_pn=cro83503002&gp=1&utm_source=google&utm_medium=froogle&utm_campaign=product&emlprox=out&gclid=CJ6B-pqd17UCFUhV4AodLyUAFg. In the Technical Details portion of the ad it says "Dana 35" and "86 to 92 comanche" for fitment. When I type my vehicle in to check for fitment details it says that this part does not fit my vehicle. Hence the reason I am confused. By looking at it it looks like it is the right kit. Can someone give me some input on the right kit for me to buy. I am ready to pull the trigger I just don't want to do it on the wrong gear set. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.
  5. Thanks for the input guys. This helps out a lot. Now I can go finish my job. So there isn't even a trust washer between the end of the yoke and the inner race of the bearing either?
  6. Hey guys, this is my first post on here. I just bought a 1988 comanche 4x4 that is in good shape and runs/drives great. It is missing the rear drive shaft though. I bought both new yokes, seals, and got a brand new drive shaft made last week. I started installing everything today and think I ran into a problem. I took the broken rear yoke out and pulled the seal. Then I realized There was no crush sleeve or thrust washer that came out with everything. I'm pretty sure there is supposed to be one there right?? I'm thinking maybe someone took the yoke out maybe prior to me buying the truck and maybe never put all the parts back in. I need to go get all my parts tomorrow if possible but could someone tell me exacly everything that SHOULD be in there. I've looked at schematics that show what they call a thrust washer in there but then I also read that there should be a crush sleeve in there. Any input would be very appreciated. Thank you.
