what size are the bolts that hold the transmission to the motor on a 88 4.0?

it's on the road using stock master cylinder for now. I need to get some wheel spacers for it though!

think I may go that route

no not the proportional valve. Isn't there a check valve that holds pressure on the drum brakes in the master cylinder??

I thought I read somewhere about removing the check valve behind the seat in the master cylinder???

are the Comanche rear springs the same as a XJ? I see that my 99 XJ has the springs over the axle and my Comanche has the spring under the axle. One of my main leafs has broken on the Comanche and I'm looking to replace it but the jeep has a 3" lift so finding the right one may be tough!

You are right about the rocker seats!!! That's why I'm changing the seats, you can't get in the damn thing!

I thought it would be a simple unbolt and bolt the newer seats in, no such luck! What has everyone used for seat rails to make the XJ seats fit?

how much work is it making the new style motor work in the old truck? do you have to change all the wiring???

I'm taking the remix motor out and want to rep[lace with a newer style HO motor

can I just exchange the intake manifold off the 89 motor onto the 95 so all the injection wiring will work or should I do a complete swap? How hard is it to get the new injection system and wiring to work with the old harness?
