Hey. Thank you for the info. I have access to the 3.4, computer with wiring harness, alredy have a 4.0 rad, plus mid 90's fuel tank with efi pump, and have a full shop. I could easily do a newer 2.5 and computer, but I live in the mountains and hate being at half the speed limit for most the way home from work. I know the 2.8 flywheel works once it is rebalanced, does the 2.5 flywheel work? thanks marc

Hello I know it's not an MJ, but I have been told some of you guys may be able to help. I have an 84 xj with ax5 and a 2.5 which has finally blown. I'm looking for info on swaping in a gm 3.4. Does anyone know where I can get engine mounts, or are there ones I can find at my wrecker's that will do it? What kind of fabrication would be involved? I just want to go into this with creating the least amount of headaches for myself as possible. Also to be back behind the wheel as soon as possible, with some much needed power for larger tyres.
