  3. ok so i found one on ebay for like $100 plus shipping just wondering if you guys think it will be worth what I'm paying. (note: I'm not going to be doing extreme off roading just some trail riding. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Fully-Ad ... ccessories
  4. i do have a SOA and the guy who had the truck before me said the left leaf spring was weak so he put a 1 inch block to level the truck out, but should i use products from rocky road or does anybody know of a better site to get the brackets trac bar and leaf springs? also i do have alot of play in the wheel its pretty bad any good ideas on how to fix this ? thankss
  5. yeah i just looked up rocky road today I'm thinking about using them but i just need to get the money first. but it would help alot because the control arms hit on the mount alot because of the angle
  6. well when i bought the jeep it had stupid bumpers like the rear one so i made the front and plan on doing the same idea for the back bumper, and those are stock mirrors i believe but i plan on getting the newer style soon. also i was thinking about wheel spacers just havent gotten there yet and i don't have budget for new tires so these will have to do. tire size is 265/75r16 with a six inch lift. its a 2.5L auto with d35/d30 axels so bigger tires are not really a option rite now hahah and when i get the money its going towards rear leaf replacements lower CA drop brackets and an adjustable trac-bar, then ill work on cosmetics haha but i did put a $100 paint job on it (hot rod black) but thanks for the ideas
  7. ok so i got my comanche on the road and it has a 6in lift so i was looking to invest in a adjustable trac bar to prevent the "DEATH WOBBLE" and put my axel back were it belongs. i also want a lower control arm bracket drop kit and replacemtn rear leaf springs. i found a site that had the leaf springs for $99 and the trac-bar for $109 and the CA drop brackets for $215. i was wondering if anybody knew where else you can get these for a cheaper price if not oh well i was just curious. here the site where i found the parts to: http://www.rocky-road.com/xjsus.html
  8. so i finially fixed all the rot and painted the comanche and just took it off roading today for the first time here's all the pics i have from when i bought it. 4 wheel drive is still broken and its a 4 cylinder but hey she still moves haha if you have any questions or comment feel free to ask and tell me what you think
  9. its a 6 inch rustys coil lift. and i do have the whole bed side in primer i plan on painting it flat black soon ,( also those are the xj unlimited rim they came with the truck also :brows:
  10. i bought a 1987 comanche about a month ago. its a 2.5 liter 4 speed auto with a six inch lift. i bought it for $1300 ( i feel it was a good deal.) and it had a big rot spot above the rear right wheel on the bed but i had already fix it. i just got a new phone so i only have a couple pictures :( and sadly i don't have any from repairing the rot or making the front bumper but here she is..... on the trailer going home just sitting for now (get my license in a month) interior....aftermarket tack, oil, and water guages whooo! just another side shot underneath the front end you can kinda see the front bumper i made,,,,, its not done yet a still got some modifying to do just playing around in the yard....and you can see were i patched the rot spot and did some bondo work ill try to take more pictures as i do more work and post them up this is what i got for now... i have a lot i want to do like paint, better tires maybe bigger axles and much more but I'm 16 and broke so as time goes on ill add more....tell me what you think
