Thinking of swapping out my ax15 for an automatic.Local pull a part has a few Cherokees to get parts from.What all would i need to get to change it over. Step daughter will be 16 next year and thinking maybe use for her first vehicle. Truck is an 89 with a 4.0,5 speed and console, buckets.

1989 Pioneer 4.0 I6 hd 5 speed short bed build date too faded bucket seats dash with tach full console sliding rear window a/c (works) Moultrie,GA. its my daily driver (has 253,000 mi.)

My driver door has some slop in the hinges.Can i get parts to repair them or do i have to buy hinges?Any hints or places to get parts would be very helpful. Thanks,Richard

The VIN has i think a 36,will have to check.

Just joined the club today.Hello to everybody from south GA.Bought an 89 Comanche last week.I believe its an eliminator but not sure.It has the 4.0 with 5 speed,full console,tach in the dash and bucket seats.Has had front fenders and header panel above grill replaced (fender bender)maybe bumper and grill.The body is straight and almost no rust.Runs good and drives ok, (tires are junk)shows 251,000 mi..Gonna fix some and drive it while i work on my Vega.Then will make my jeep nice.
