  1. Finally figured it out. I have a slow leak in my master cylinder it was leaking onto the wire for the tail lights that goes into the fuse box and causing it to not get a connection.
  2. Stop light works fine. I'll check the bulb after pt this morning then the wiring and if all else fails the switch.
  3. A 6.5" lift is a good size to go. I have a 3" on my 89 Comanche and it works great for some of the smaller stuff. What you are going to want to look at while doing the lift tho is drive shaft angles odds are you will have to shim the back end and get the kit to drop the transfer case. Also you'll need several new parts for your steering to keep away from bump steer. I have not lifted my Comanche yet but I helped my friend do a 6.5" lift on his Cherokee and they are the same issues.
  4. I'll check the stop light. I didnt think about that actually. I put new bulbs in both sides. All of the lights light up just when i hit the turn signal it doesnt flash The front does just not the rear.
  5. So I checked the ground and it was causing all of my lights to go out. I now have taillights and the rest but I still only have a drivers side turn signal in the rear. Could this be one of the bigger metal fuses under the dash or would it still be some wiring I missed from the trailer lights? Thanks again it is at least drivable now at night.
  6. thanks ill check that now. I had trailer lights I removed every trace of them. I'm going to check the ground next.
  7. Hi guys I'm new to the forum. I just got a 1989 jeep comanche I was taking her through a mud hole and in the process I think i messed something up. All of my lights in the front work. I have only one rear turn signal working (on the drivers side) back up lights are working, but I have no rear parking lights. I have checked all the fuses they look good bulbs are good. So I'm assuming its a wiring problem. Has anyone had this problem that could help me out? I can post pictures of my wiring if needed. Thanks
