Thanks for your input. Do you know what trans is in my '86? It appears chrysler-ish.

My trusty (rusty) '86 2.8 trans lines are leaking right after they travel over the trans and start their journey forward. My question is for ease of replacement wouldn't it be simpler to run rubber hose from the fittings on the trans to the radiator than futz with the metal tubing? A does anyone know the size of the fittings on the trans? Where to get parts? Thanks
