Yes, you can replace the center glass. I replaced one years ago on a 89 MJ. I think you have to take the frame pieces apart.

I haven’t either. I wonder if it’s been reupholstered? It’s a pretty decent looking MJ. I do see some rust on the rockers and bedsides though, so I’d assume the floors are rough.

Yes, it still had the rear sliding window, but the center pane was busted out. I found it on FB marketplace as well. Worked out for me as I was driving thru DFW on my way back home with my MJ. Their prices were very reasonable. Be sure to wear old clothes and boots though. It’s a swampy mess in their yard area!

1989 Comanche Eliminator 4.0 AW4 2wd It is at Vazquez Auto Parts in Dallas TX. I took the full bucket seat interior and cargo light. The tailgate and taillights were already gone. They had two other MJ’s as well, but they were not easy to access and mostly stripped.

Thank you for letting me join here. Always loved MJ’s. This is my latest one. 1988 Comanche Sport Truck short bed. 4.0 5 speed 4x4. Has an AX15 with matching 231 and front non disconnect D30 from a 1992 XJ. Still has the D35 in the rear. Not sure of the build date. The sticker on the drivers door is too faded. I bought it in Edmond OK and hauled it home. Ran horrible when I first got it. Several sensors and vacuum lines were missing or disconnected. Runs great now though. I swapped in a grey bucket seat and full center console interior from a 89 Eliminator I found in a junkyard. Has TJ Rubicon 16” Moab wheels on it. Gets driven a couple times a week. Fits in well with my 5.9 ZJ, lime green LJ and 81 Scrambler. I am in South Texas.
