I noticed the other morning that both of my bulbs that light up my license plate on my '88 were not functioning. I replaced both bulbs, no luck. What would make the most sense to check next? A fuse? :USAflag: :cheers:

I noticed my brakelights were not working on the left side. Tail lights work, though. When I removed the lens, I noticed some gummy substance(kinda looked liked corrosion) on the bulbs and in the bulb sockets. The bulbs looked fine. I cleaned everything the best that I could, replaced bulbs, but no luck. I am going to try a couple of new bulbs but I really don't think that will correct the problem. Any suggestions?
