Can Spell Comanche

Can Spell Comanche (2/11)

  1. I have the manual now. Thank you. Sadly it’s hard for me to wrap my brain around this stuff. I’m trying I really am. Just feeling slightly discouraged just because of a lack of knowledge on how these things work lol. I’m gonna do my best to study this maybe it can lead me in a good direction.
  2. So with the new switch in I still have the same problem. With the lights turned to the on position I checked my front left amber light with the bulb out and I have all ground no power. Is there a way to test the switch with the test light? Obviously I’m getting power. Headlights are on. But what’s blocking the power to the taillights?
  3. Awesome! thank you! oriellys just delivered a new switch and I'm about to head home and see if i can get it replaced before the sun goes down! ill keep ya updated!
  4. Hmmm is it worth it if I’m gonna pull the dash to go ahead and buy a new switch if that’s the case? Watched a video of a guy with the same style Cherokee and looks like I gotta take the bottom dash and the cluster out.
  5. so the last thread on my recent post i was having issues with my brake lights but then my slave cylinder went out so lights were then the least of my concerns. now that me and my buddy got the transmission pulled and new clutch kit installed the truck is back on the road. i got the brake lights fixed because the power wire came out of the terminal to the brake light switch i still have no running lights. hazards, turn signals and brakes all work. headlights too. but when i pull the knob halfway out for running lights (ambers in the front inop aswell) ive got nothing. any tips or ideas to begin would be great! thank you!
  6. Yup getting trans pulled now got a whole new clutch kit and gonna do valve cover gasket and clutch master cylinder.
  7. theres fluid in the clutch master cylinder. and no signs of leaks there. at least not right now lol. but the pedal doesnt have as much pressure as it did. i can go through all the gears while the truck is shutoff but if i start it i can't get it in any gear. tried pumping the pedal too and got nothing.
  8. its hard to tell from the pic but ill have to out my finger on it when i get home to really tell
  9. No it’s leaking from the bell housing. That’s the slave cylinder gone bad right??
  10. Update: my clutch stopped working on the way home from work today. So tail lights are the least of my worries now. 🤗
  11. ive got a donor truck thats a 4.0 but an automatic 2wd but ill have to look to see if its the same or not. i did rob the t/s flasher out of it but i had some corrosion and was bad.
  12. So i can get my taillights back by going ahead and rerouting that fuse? until i can do a whole new block replacement?
  13. I just reread your thing. Your said clutch. I gotcha!
