Hi all, this is my first post in this forum so apologies if this topic should be posted elsewhere. But I'm hoping for some help ID'ing the correct slave cylinder replacement part. I'm a long time Wrangler owner and brand new Comanche owner. Just brought home a '86 longbed 2.8l 5-speed. It currently isn't driving due to a bad clutch. Previous owner said the pedal went soft all of a sudden and it started to leak fluid, which sounds like a bad slave cylinder to me. My plan is to pull the transmission and replace the clutch, master, and slave together since they've all seen better days.
I ordered all the parts I needed, however I'm wondering if I got the wrong part number for the slave as this looks like an external slave (pic attached below). I ordered Centric's 138.63002. The internal slave cylinders I've seen on YJ AX5s have a much different design. Would love any help IDing this / confirming I get the correct part. Thanks!
New clutch line is a great callout, I'll plan to inspect and replace that while I'm at it. Thanks!
