Hello All!
I bought my 1989 Jeep Comanche Eliminator in April this year. It was located in Atlanta, GA, and was actually a previous Comanche of the Month selectee in January 2016. The VIN is 1J7FT66LXKL442871.
It is a 4.0 Liter 6 Cylinder. I believe it was originally a 2WD Auto, but has been converted to a 4WD AX15 5 Speed.
It is currently located in Northern NJ and undergoing a slow refurbishment - I've replaced all the lights with LEDs, and added a nice single DIN Android Auto head unit and new speakers as well. I've also replaced the rear view and side view mirrors, the window rubber gaskets and trim, wiper arms, and rebuilt the factory bed lamp. The truck has a red exterior, gray interior, bucket seats, and has A/C (mostly working).
One oddity - the glove box has a sticker listing the factory tire size as 216/65R15 - a size I don't normally see associated with MJs or XJs.
I am driving it at least 2 or 3 days per week, but plan on putting it away for the winter.
