  3. Haha, jag har just också återupptagit renoveringen på min comanche som stått i många år och så hittar jag din tråd, kul! Borde väl skriva på engelska kanske i tråden egentligen
  4. Found some thick gear kits on ebay, A W E S O M E ! This means i don't have to spend a fortune on an entirely new carrier and locker for the d44 and i can keep my beloved OEM lim slip!!!!! You made my day! Thank yoooouuuuu
  5. A thick 4.88 gear for my D44 would be awesome, never heard of that! Since it seems there is no 4.88 carrier that will fit my OEM limited slip, A THICK 4.88 WOULD BE A LIFESAVER!!! Any idea where i can get one????
  6. Hi everbody I need my MJ to get lower gears since I'm running 35"s and I'm gonna go for 4.88 in my axles. Rear axle is Dana 44 with OEM limited slip. Front is a Dana 30 HP from a 1996 XJ. Current gears in the axles are 3.54. What do i need to think about when I'm ordering rings and pinions for the axles? Do i need to change the carriers i both axles to fit 4.88? Please come with some input guys
  7. I think you can see what i mean on this these RC arms. If you compare the angle on the rubber end with the tube ,they seems to be bent "two ways" both upwards and inwards.
  8. Hi guys, My english is a bit tacky but I'm gonna try to describe my question. Here goes: I'm gonna fabricate my own long arms for my MJ and got one question. I'm planning on doing the "high clearance" type with a small bend on the arm. When i look at long arms kit mounted on XJ/MJ's it seems like the arms on each side are leaning in a bit. Probably so that the arm won't hit the frame when flexing? If so, is the front rubber bushing welded a little of centered in some way so that the arm leans in a bit? Or how do you get the arm to lean in towards the center of the truck? You guys get what i mean?? Thanks // Johan in Sweden
