I’ve got the darker tan. Attached is a photo of when I first bought it. The dash and glovebox have since been repainted, and right now I’m working on mounting the cherokee seats. I painted the vinyl on them to match my interior. It’s not perfect, but it’s much better

When I bought it, the truck had destroyed seats out of a dodge dakota. Took those out and now I have my interior apart repainting everything and repairing rust. I have bucket seats I pulled out of a ‘94 cherokee in a junkyard, but they’re unfortunately the wrong color tan. Unless I can somehow get my hands on the right color bucket seats or bench seat, I will just put in the cherokee seats and sell the old dakota ones

Searching for a tan bench seat or bucket seats for my 1987 sportruck.

I guess I’ll have to gauge what looks best based on how the repainting turns out. Thank you a ton, this was a great help.

Thank you. That’s the buckskin carpet? Looks quite different from the website but seems to match really well. I’m not sure if I have the tan or the honey. Here’s a photo of my interior. Are you able to tell? Based on your photo, my guess would be honey but i’m not quite sure. Regardless, I am repainting most of my interior trim with SEM camel as recommended by another forum as that color is supposedly close to the 1987 tan (or maybe honey?)

I don’t think so, but that would be nice since I’m repainting my interior trim with SEM Camel. But if the carpet is intended to be darker, then perhaps the buckskin color is my best bet

Thank you. Part of my issue is that none of the tans really seem to match my interior directly on the website. I saw someone recommend a color called buckskin on stockinteriors.com, but it seemed a little too dark to me. Do you happen to any recommendations of what specific color or website to buy from?

Hey everyone. I’m currently restoring an ‘87 SpoTruck with a tan interior. I am in the process of redoing the interior and I am having trouble figuring out which carpet color to get. When I bought my truck, there was no carpet, so I have nothing to compare. stockinteriors.com has several different shades of beige and tan, so I was wondering if anybody could provide some input as to what color I need to purchase for my tan interior. Unfortunately, when I bought my truck, there wasn’t a carpet, so I am unable to correctly color match it. You mentioned that you bought yours from www.stockinteriors.com in the buckskin color. I was just wondering if you had any photos of your interior so I can have an idea of how this looks and compare to my own interior before I make any purchases? From what I understand, there was only one color of tan for my year, but i’m not entirely sure.
