  1. Hey there, I was wondering if this “1998-2001 require more work. All the transfer case input gear info from 1990.5-1997 applies, on top of that, the sensors have changed! You can either build the circuit given here by lawsoncl or swap the transmission tailhousing, sensor drive rotor, and output speed sensor as shown here by Frank Z to make this work.” still applies if I swap a 99xj transmission (aw4) and transfer case (np231) into my 88. Any insight would be appreciated. thanks
  2. There was the usual metal dust on the magnets though
  3. It was dirty but nothing unusual. No large metal pieces or metal shavings in the fluid.
  4. Nope it still crawls with the pedal to the ground.
  5. Just did a trans fluid flush and changed the filter but no dice
  6. So I’ve refreshed all the connectors but no luck. Today I will be doing a transmission flush, hopefully it solves my problem 😂.
  7. Alright guys thanks for the feed back, I’ll let you know how it goes.
  8. I have an automatic 4wd automatic 4l i6. My comanche barely goes forward while in drive but works fine in reverse. When I put the pedal to the floor the engine responds but little to no power is generated. I’m wondering what the problem is, I’m guessing the torque converter. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated, thanks.
