Year, Make, Model: From what I can tell, 1987 Comanche base short bed Engine / Trans / Transfercase / Front axle / Rear axle / Wheelbase: 4.0, AW4, NP231, Disconnect D30 from a YJ (is on front leaves currently), 8.25 of some variation, short bed Build date: (its on the driverside door sticker, in the form of month and year) No doors... Current Location: Near Nashville, TN Status: Kind of roadworthy, definitely a project Notes: I'm pretty sure this truck has been gone through many times, but it has a solid cab on it which was where my interest was Current owner: Me Only picture I have currently. 1991 Jeep Comanche, I believe it's a Pioneer that was originally 2wd and Hunter Green As it sits: 4.0L / AX15 / NP231 / HP D30 / 29 spline 8.25 / Short bed Current Location: Nashville, TN Status: Kind of road worthy... I need to do a handful of things, but it drives under its own power, and it's insured. Notes: Currently has bucket seats, full center console, SOA in the back, 5.5" springs up front, fiberglass fenders and bedsides, 4.56s with lockers, long arms, HD steering, 37s on beadlocks, random assortment of other things. Current plan is to remove and sell the fiberglass (I have a pristine bed to put back on it complete with tailgate, lights, and flares), do a 97+ front clip (minus interior, I like the old dash), I'll likely swap the axles out for something a little stronger, build a stroker to drop in, fresh paint, weld in new cab corners, refresh the interior...probably a handful of other small things along the way.
