    Not sure if you've made a decision yet but I bought a reman nv3550 as a replacement for my 04 TJ a while back from reman trans and had a solid experience with them. I've probably put about 18k on it since I made the swap so take that for what you will. They have used and new ax15s https://reman-transmission.com/transmission-codes/?code=AX15
