  1. Thanks for the info guys. I went and bought an '86 with a 4-banger in it with 120,000 miles on the clock. Cost me $2200 and it runs great. I'll drive it while I decide if I can get the '91 running again. I live about 20 miles from Seattle, WA and there are a lot of Jeep guys locally who can get me tied into the used parts network.
  2. I recently drove my 91 Comanche into a boulder at 15 mph and smashed up the left front side. The trailing arm is bent and the engine won't start. (the impact probably took out the engine computer). Needs a hood, left front fender, bumper etc. The truck is completely stock except for a limited slip rear end . It has a straight six and 5- speed. 225,000 miles on the clock but was still running great, original owner. Not used offroad, just some logging road but mostly highway travel. My question is, is this thing worth fixing or will the repairs be more trouble than it is worth? I can buy a similar truck for under 4 grand with way fewer miles. I just need help deciding if I should part it out, try to fix it or have it hauled away for charity.
