I have a 86 MJ with a 2.5L engine thats needs replacing can I used a newer 2.5L from a 1995 yj and basically just add my intake,exhaust and distributor from my 86 to the 95 engine ?? Thanks

I have a question and I'm hoping someone has a answer I'm reassembling my 1986 comanche that has a 2.1L renault diesel engine hopefully the engine all when together ok But I'm having a issue with timing marks the cam and injection pump are quite easy BUT I cannot find any marking to line up the crankshaft (marks on the crank but nothing to line up with on the block) I have looked endlessly online but I can't find anything Does anyone have a picture or something that I can work with Thanks
