I appreciate the faith !!! I've always been a fan of drum brakes as well the system is just easier to work on.

Both sides were completely missing. One of the previous owners planned a disk brake swap so he started throwing parts away before he realized the cost of the conversion. We have some of his conversion parts but we are rebuilding them back stock. A guy at the oriellys near me recommended the sturt bars from an 87-89 YJ with 10 inch shoes. The strut bars have the same measurements as the MJ. I have them on order I'll let y'all know how it works out.

So my son has a newly acquired 86 Comanche 4x4 we are trying to get the rear brakes back together on. It has the 10 inch x 1.81 pads I have found everything but the parking brake strut bar. My question is will the 90 fit it ? I can't find an 86-89 parking brake strut bar and the best I can tell they changed to a 9 inch pad in the 90s so I don't know if they are interchangeable or not. I've attached a picture of what I'm taking about because apparently this piece has 5 names. Any help would be great thank you in advance ?
