I don't think I'm ready to have MJ yet or maybe ever.

I forgot to think about the most important thing before buying a car which is maintenance. Like I I mentioned above, I'm not much of mechanic person. I could do simple stuff like changing oil and air filters. I'm not sure what mods are in this vehicle. Would there be any issues if I take it to the Jeep dealership for routine maintenance and services? Like they wouldn't take it because not their stock parts or possibly they don't know how to deal with that mods??? Any thoughts or suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks.

Pete registered it for me. Aug 1990 built and I'm not sure if you are talking about rear axle. Since you mentioned D30 which I assume Dana30? If it is, CAD is not functioning very well? I am still learning terms and others. Not much of mechanic type. Thanks for the info.

I'm not sure this is the right area to ask. I am buying 91 Comanche with about 160k on it. I believe it is in mint condition. No rust on undercarriage, power window installed, bucket seats(swapped I guess),AC and etc. Price is about $12,000 and I already put some money down to hold it for me. I love Jeep Comanche and I have been looking for this car with good condition for a long time. I think I finally found one. From my research, I think the price is reasonable. Never had a Jeep before and it will be my first Jeep. I wanted to hear some opinions or thoughts about the price and others from experts and lovers on Jeep Comanche. Thank you.

I have this Comanche and vin reports say standard_seating 3. Does this mean that this Comanche came out with bench seat? Because this Comanche has bucket seats. If this Comanche came out with bench seat, is it easy to swap back to bench seat? I have read some other articles regarding this and brackets and belts are main issues when swapping seats. Also, folks seem to prefer buckets more than bench. I wonder I should leave it that way.
