  1. Well, I am looking for tires for a 1990 Comanche Eliminator 2WD. Currently it has 225/75/15 street tires, but I would like some "All-Terrain" type tires. I won't be "muddin", but probably be on some dirt roads in the woods and maybe some time at the beach, so most driving will be roads/highway. Live in FL so need good wet road tires, but not snow tires. What do you recommend. Daily driving will likely be 10-20 miles per day. Any good deals online?
  2. Thanks for the heads up. I had searched eBay, but apparently did not use the correct search words. Thanks for the help. I will also check out the classifieds here on CC.
  3. Thanks for the quick replies. The tail light was broken through and through but just wher the white part was for the backup light. The red is still intact, so at least it will be street legal, I think. :dunno: Will have to look for another one in some local junk yards.
  4. My 15 year old son, just purchased a 1990 Comanche Eliminator. It appears to be in remarkably good condition. Will be asking for your help with this project. Will try and take pictures for a photo diary of this project.
  5. New to the comanche. My 15 year old son just bought a 1990 jeep comanche eliminator in remarkably good condition. Runs smooth and auto tranny shifts smooth as well. Just some surface rust, but no rust through areas noted yet. Need to pull up carpet, but floorboard feels solid. I cannot believe how good of shape this truck is in for being 20 years old. It has 197,000 miles, but previous owner (PO) has had jeeps "all his life" and has keep it in good shape. Many parts came along with truck as PO had yanked many things off of a cherokee a couple years ago at a junk yard just in case he needed them. Anyway, we will be starting our "fixing it up project" and need good sources for parts. I know that many parts can be found in junk yards, but what about other sources? Are there online sites that have a good supply of aftermarket parts? Looking for a LH rear lense cover as the current one is broken. We are looking forward to this project, and will be spending a lot of time here learning. Thanks
