Hello Club Members, We are the manufacturer of the replacement B pillar light, our A-7180-BC as seen in the pictures above. Here is some background information on that light. Orginally the light was developped for Chrysler France when they were still manufacturing in Europe. Later the light migrated to a Renault car. In 1981 Renault acquired the American Motors Corpration who was manufacturing the Jeep Cherokee and the Commanche among other vehicles. The AMC engineers selected our light for the B pillar application but at the last minute the Purchasing Department selected a French supplier who was $0.02 less expensive. Believe it or not we could not match that very small difference. Ever since we have been manufacturing and selling that light all over the world for many various applications. Hey Rob, sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Unfortunately, we cannot supply the tail lights for the Comanche. As I said, the tooling we have for the interior light we purchased 15 years ago hoping that we could supply it to the street rod industry. We will keep a look out for the tail lights, but realistically we will probably not be able to find it. Sorry.

After the expiration of that vehicle we purchased the tooling and transferred the production of the light to here in the US, and have been supplying the light from here for the last 15 years to many industries (specialty vehicles, street rods, marine, etc.).
