Jeeper

Jeeper (1/11)

  1. 1987 Jeep Comanche Laredo, 101,500 original miles 4.0, AW4, NP231, D30, D44 (3.73), LWB https://ibb.co/wMfymhw https://ibb.co/rd6v1n7 https://ibb.co/ZN9n431 https://ibb.co/y48pCGz No Build date sticker, must have been removed Located in Norfolk VA, came from Greenville NC (made 160 mile drive home under its own power) Running and barely driving, about to start restoring! This jeep is loaded, basically has every option I have seen them able to come with exception of the "metric ton" leaf springs. Truck is largely complete with absolutely no rust, has factory Tcase skid plate, but is missing the original tow hitch and doors with tow mirrors. PO swapped 97-01 power doors on. 4.0 has factory cooling system with pressure bottle, and a few added mechanical gauges like oil pressure and temp sensor. Interior is in mint condition with a new carpet and headliner, currently the interior trim is disassembled in boxes while I address some leaks in the rear windshield. In the glovebox, I found the original 4x4 Comanche manual with the original owners purchase information. Has honey bucket seats with a center console, and all of the original interior lights, twilight relay (Laredo option?) and cargo light are all functioning. Has original fog lamps (with uncracked covers, not currently working but getting power via wiring harness). Trans power comfort switch is functional. Shift column needs some help, High beams don't currently work, and cruise control/wiper settings don't work on all settings. Motor is weak and has low oil pressure via mechanical gauge, lifter noise on startup is pretty bad. Still runs and drives though! planning on doing a full rebuild with some engine/electrical modifications (C101 is already deleted,Cruiser54 tips have been started). Not going to build it to be a wheeler, planning on doing a mild 1-2 inch lift and revamp of suspension to make a comfortable daily driver. Currently owned by tman.ossi in Norfolk, Virginia
