I thought it was, but it looks like the master leaks from the cap. So you think having different years of master and slave is not a problem? :dunno:I'd like to clarify this before buying a new master cylinder. Thanks

I am the rookie, so I really need your guidance. Switched an AX15 from a 97 tj into my son's comanche 88, so no more internal slave, tried the stock '88 master cyl. with the '97 slave and clutch did not engaged, are these compatible? do i need a 97 master cylinder as well? i don't know if internally the amount of fluid varies comparing them against ea other looks like the newer would hold more fluid than the old one :dunno:
