The leafs are the rustys offroad 4” lifted. Arrived preassembled and was cheaper with shipping. With XJ rear shackles (shaved 1/8” off the frame mount portion of the bushing/sleeve so it fit). It is dead nuts level with the Rough Country 3” front coils and all 4 struts.

1987 Jeep Comanche MJ 2.5L 4Cyl / AX4/ Dana 30 front/ dana 35 rear/SWB Build date: (its on the driverside door sticker, in the form of month and year) Current Location: Rockingham County, New Hampshire Status:On the road in the middle of a minor rebuild including brakes and interior. Body work around bed fender wells. Notes: Was a 2WD turned 4wd. Lifted 3” in front, 4 inch rear leafs. Interior underway. New carpet/panels. Current owner: Bought off a mechanic for a fair price. Sinking enough in to be safe and fun.

My wife for some unknown reason agreed to this 87 MJ she found on social media. Runs and drives, 4 cylinder 4 speed and 4wd. New suspension-rough country 3” and new rustys offroad 4” rear leaf springs went in this weekend. Previous owner did not have original shackles in the rear. The old leaf springs were flat as a board. Modified some xj rear shackles to fit the rear frame mount . Old caroet cutout-Floors pretty good with only a few fixes. Sanded, primed and bedliner on the inside. Toying with the idea of trying to make a headliner. i emailed sms already. still need to install: steering stabilizer carpet offroad lights on bumper new lights/lenses/housings problems left: rear brake lines leaky and old. Rear brakes and parking brakes not doing much. some body work.... this forum has given me so much information-thanks!
