  1. Thanks everyone for all the help and input. My thoughts were to prep the bed and do bed liner in the back since it is in great shape. Then to clear the rest of the truck . Then pop in a new windsheild due to a crack. And drive it.
  2. Good looking truck
  3. I’m torn about the conversion. I do have a xj parts vehicle that has front and rear axles and a transfer case but it’s auto trans. So I’m guessing all I would have to find is a ax15??? Trans and cross member ?
  4. Great looking MJ!
  5. Thank you Ghostman. It’s a pretty solid base for sure.
  6. Thank you! And I agree. I can do the body/paint work myself. Finding the time is another story. 😁
  7. Hi all new to the group here and probably a lengthy post. But I purchased a 90 model Comanche pioneer 4.0 2wd 5 speed.one owner with some records Truck sat in a shop several years before I stumbled upon it. Has 111,??? Miles no underside rust. South Alabama doesn’t have too bad of issue with the floor and frame rot. Here’s what’s been done. Floor done in por 15. New clutch pressure plate throw out bearing. New slave cylinder, line and reservoir. New rear main seal and oil pan gasket. New injector o rings,New water pump. New brakes and calipers on the front. Desperately need tires right now so not driving much other than to move around shop and yard. Other than headliner falling interior is near perfect condition. Almost forgot one small hole in the seat on the side by the door. Not in sitting area. No dash cracks. Pretty straight truck. Needs a windshield it is cracked. Paint is pretty much shot. So now that all the scatter brain jabber is out of the way. Here’s the question. I’m entertaining the idea of maybe selling the truck and wondered what it could be worth. If I keep it for a while longer I know I will want to paint it. And put a new windshield in so how far is too far before I’m to deep to sell and break close to even 😂 I thought about 4WD conversion but it’s to nice original. Confused much here 😂 anyhow thanks for listening!
