I realized this about 30 seconds after I put it back on and I’m just too lazy to fix it

I bought this MJ with the swap done already. its a 87 MJ with 4.0ho (built) aw4 dash and harness out of a 96 or 97 xj. Truck runs and drives great only if you shift it “manually”. If you put it in drive it will hit 4th gear before 10mph. I don’t know much about the swap besides the fact that there are some wires tapped into the tcm plug, which I haven’t chased and there’s some plugs on the tranny harness that SEEM to have no home or place to plug in. What should I be looking for? I also noticed when I was tucking the harness inside the cab there’s and extra (what seems to be) brake light switch zip ties under the dash but is plugged in. Any insight is very much appreciated. Or direction to a post that has already answered this. I have searched hours on hours before making an account to make this post.
