    I'm curious if the previous owner just kept dumping oil into it. It's everywhere.

    I had it routed wrong. Once I tore everything off It all came back. My alternator sits on top of the ac.

    The top pin is in the path of my serpentine belt. Not sure why this got left out of my original post.

    Did the rubber giving out cause it to raise up?

    89' 2.5L with a 5-speed. I bought this to get me to the river and hardware store for projects. This is quickly becoming the project. Had it for two months during the shelter in place and have been doing little things to make it road safe.

    The timing cover ended up being cracked. I swapped that out, loosing a bolt in the process. Got the water pump back on and noticed this. The crude must have been holding it together because it has risen from the grime mark. Any thoughts.
