I been working on a 99 full swap. And needed to get the fuel gage working. I didn't want to use the top mount Cherokee and wanted to keep the stock fule tank. So here's what I did.
Parts used
Comanche assembly gutted
Comanche float
99 pump
99 sending unit with bracket
96 pump mount
96 regulator and mount
This all can be done with just cutting and riveting on brackets. I chose to weld the 96 parts . 99 parts are aluminum
