Where do I fill the coolant in my !988 Comanche 4.0L with a closed system?

The pulley on the P/S pump is metal with holes. And it seems to be tracking fine on that pulley. I've noticed that the belt is riding on the rear edge lip of the fan pulley and I think is where the squealing is coming from. I just don't know how to get it to stay in the center of that pulley. Should I try a gatorback belt?

I installed a new power steering pump and pulley in my 1988 Comanche. Now the serpentine belt is squeaking loudly. The cause seems to be that it is ridding near the rim edge on the fan pulley under the AC compressor. I have sprayed WD40 on that part of the belt at that point and the squeaking stops for a short time. My question is how do I adjust the belt to ride more toward the center of that pulley. All the other pulleys seem okay. I don't see any method of adjustment. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks.

Other than the solenoids, what else could be causing the problem of not shifting into 2nd or 3rd? Do I need to worry about the TCU?

The automatic transmission on my 1988 Comanche is not shifting into 2nd or 3rd. I think I need to replace the 3 solenoids the filter and gasket. I belie3ve the transmission is a AW 30-40LE but not sure. Does anyone know a supplier who has these parts. Thanks, Mac

I went to 7 junk yards today and no one had the part. Either didn't have the Jeep Cherokee/Comanche or the part was already removed. Do anyone in the club have one that I can purchase? I only need one. Appreciate the help. Mac

I recently bought a 1988 Comanche and the engine oil light keep coming on. The engine has knocking also when I start it and it is cold. I plan on replacing the oil pump in a few months but can't do it just now. Would it be good to put a bottle of the Lucas engine additive in the truck's engine? The bottle says it will stop knocking and increase oil pressure. Does anyone have experience using this Lucas oil additive? Appreciate any advice. Thanks, Mac

I have an '88 Comanche and the driver side seat sags greatly. I either need to get the original seat rebuilt or replace the original with a bench seat from another late model mid-sized pickup truck. Does anyone have experience with what alternate bench seat will fit well in my MJ? Thanks for the help, Mac
