If the '92 was a inline 6 cylinder instead would i still run into the injection/ignition system problems? Also i believe my mj has a rear dana 35

Thank you for the helpful information, it will help me in the future when looking for another car. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for correcting me. I meant an inline 6(mj) and and inline 4(xj). So i will pass on this xj and wait and watch craiglist till the proper year/engine are for sale.

Hi everyone I'm new here and am an proud owner of an 1988 v6 4.0L 2 wheel drive Comanche. Over the last year ive been restoring it and making it new (in my eyes) however i live in the mountains and need it to be 4 wheel drive. I have a good deal on a 1992 xj sport with a v4 engine. Before i buy it, am i able to take the transmission, t-case & wiring, axles, and front drive shaft out of the xj and put it on my Comanche? I know a lot of parts are interchangeable but not sure which and don't want to shell out the money for no reason Thanks in advanced
