  2. Ok not completely. Has a delay in going back to idle almost like the pedal sticks and sometimes will idle high but if I pull up on the pedal it idles down. Doesn't do this if I'm straight of the throttle body. Could this be the tps? Or maybe map sensor etc? Searched didn't find a solid answer looking for a direction to head. thanks for helping my incompetence!
  3. When turning the truck over to start it the tach spins around and then when it starts it points straight down. All other gauges work. Any ideas or heard of before?
  4. I also understand the leafs are still 30 years old just staying that they are far from saggy.
  5. No springs aren't saggy the front sits to low just want the year to match the front when I lift it. I don't need much. Truck was babied, only 100,000 miles too so. But anyhow seems I just gotta order leaves or do a bastard pack because shackles are a no no correct?
  6. Yea 1.25 inch adapters. It's not terrible rub I just mainly wanted to know who uses the shackles and how they treated them.
  7. Lower fender. I'm kinda opposed to trimming on this one too.
  8. Ok so I have searched but haven't gotten solid answers. I just want to have the rear and inch or 2 higher so when I do the front it's level. From experience has anyone done the chevy lowering shackle swap and had adverse effects to handling or pinion angle etc. Truck is not really gonna be a wheeler mainly for looks and mild trails. I put some jk wheels and tires on so I just need a to lift a tad to remove rubbing. Just don't want to waste time and money. If she will drive down the road and do some light wheeling I'll be happy.   9. Couldn't find much on the topic and silly question but nothing comes on in acc mode for me and the key won't turn backwards for acc either so I'm kinda confused. Any pointers? Trucks an 87 and everything works in the run position.

  11. So bad fuel pump put in a Delphi from AutoZone which doesn't fit correctly and long story short it lasted me all of like 60 miles. To be fair my tank is sorta dirty but not dirty enough for that. Any tips on what you all run for aftermarket pumps and how?
  12. Ok I've looked around and I've tried most things I've found but my fuel pump won't stay running unless I jump the relay. Any ideas on what it could be. Fyi I have yet to find the ballast resistor so I don't know how you delete that but I believe that it's been deleted.
  13. Pulled the pump with the tank in but found frayed wire above it I need to get to and the tank is a wreck judging by the pump. Ethanol looks to have taken it's course after 5 years silly me for having faith it's not designed that way. So gotta drop it now but thank you for the tips this seems to be a great forum! I read more than I post so thanks for not flaming on ant dumb questions I try not to post them haha

  15. Ok pulled fuel pump it's clearly bad lol and the lights all work etc not getting power to the harness but found a be one area so I'll pull the tank and fix it next hope to have it running soon. It's an 87 chief power windows & locks, bucket seat 4wd 4.0 already has ax15/np231 swap and only 105,000 miles. Paid 400$ clean body and title
  16. No idea just bought the truck. Had been eaten alive on the wiring. Ground wasn't great so I redid it and it's very good now still nothing out back all bulbs are good etc. It does have a 4 pin trailer hook up integrated somehow. My fuel pump isn't coming on as well just fyi Incase it's related.
  17. Have front lights, turn signals etc. no running lights brake lights or turn signals out back but I do have reverse lights. any ideas would be great thanks.
