jeep comanche 87 bench with indention for shifter and no headrests....Hey i want to get my bench seat recovered i could pay and get it done custom but would like to pinch the pennys and see if i could find a oem one.....NOT A SEAT COVER that fits ov er the original but one that goes straight to foam like the factory one i allready pulled mine off the foam and the top just zipped off but the bottom has hogeyes so any place that sells a oem style or one that replaces it all???? :doh: Its been a while since i posted anthing but my 2yr project is almost done!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a 88 comanche inline 6 original engine but have a 1997 engine to do i have to swithch the hole engine harness for other computer and all or is there a harness adapter????also i have a mechanical speedo can i keep it mechanical or do i have to switch to electrical ????right now the original engine is good and i have put trans and everything on it off a 1997 cherokee the trans doesnt have the mechanical speedo hook up????so is there a adapter or anything thanks also can i hook up the newer intake and guts on the older engine or is that a pain in the ..........?adapters????? :bowdown:

have a 88 shortbed 4x4 has oringinal engine 6,had a b-10 swapped with ax-15 and noticed the crossmember location is different i guess cause of the lengthn of tranny put a 1997 cherokee member on it but my ? is do i have to tap for new bolt relocation or is there another way thanks :fs1:

97 xj dana 35 put under comanche?are the spring perches in the same area except located on top so you can just mount and get axle flip...i no nobody cares for dana 35s :eek: :ack:

Hey guys i no this is comanche talk but i have a ? for a 1997 cherokee i bought with a cracked motor swaped the motor out of my 1996 cherokee in it and noticed fuel pump wasnt kicking on so replaced relay and walla! so need new one of those....but also noticed heater core is leaking so how hard to replace?figured when engine blew cause some dumbass replaced with water only that is why heater core went out.but also had no computer on it so i put in my 1996 and seems to work fine ...but my 1996 was a automatic and this is a standerd does that make a difference and also no dash needles moving but all lights etc..work???? :doh: :bowdown:

hey guys whats the best clutch for the money i was looking at a luk pro gold?and also i have a 88mj and put the cj pilot bushing in and its works perfect so will a later clutch off a 1992 work basically is it the same bolt pattern!thanks

Yea used torx sockets but torx still suck!and also used shims and alighned door,might have to :D shim another in bottom!Thanks thow!

just put 96 doors on and drivers hinge was tweaked and had somewhat of a gap in it so i welded it up and installed door ,man those torx suck!but got them out of old doors and new on .aligned doors numerouse times and finally got doors to lighn up right but drivers door that i welded hinge here and there is tweaked so that door has to slam somewhat so can i put heat and tweak it up? :doh: because i no that its alighned propper just seems to be the hinge tweaked thanks guys for your constant help much appreciated!

I have a 1988 short bed 4x and i was curiouse would i benifit from a slip yoke on my transfercase and with a 6.5 lift or not and also i can't get picks to load to sight,tried and it said can't use htm only uses something else???? :doh: :huh???:
