  1. yea it looks like it is spraying and i will check out the manifold but after my 3rd bottle of seafoam its gettin better
  2. ok 86 2.5 auto 2wd it has been running rich since i got it a month ago i have changed the following parts (cap,rotor,plugs,o2 sensor,air filter,mapsensor) but now worse than ever it won't idle unless you unhook a major vacumm line and when you stop at a red light people roll the window up i have went through 3 sets of plugs in a week i have soaked the injector to please help this is my only vehicle and its killing me thanks

  4. i live in va the truck has been sitting for about 1yr but now will be a daily driver so i am going to put new gas in and a new fuelfilter drive for a week or two and report back
  5. yea but doesnt that take affect after it warms up? this problem is there cold and warm worse when its cold
  6. my 86 is running rich and really runs rough cold but when warms up runs ok but still burnin rich also when you are in park and rev engine quickly it has a dead spot when you first hit the throttle i have already replaced the plugs and the egr valve so i am assuming its sensor related does anyone have any ideas thanks
  7. i have a 86 2.5 tbi that idles and runs like crap till it warms up but when its cold its getting way to much fuel but the minute she gets warm she runs fine you guys have any ideas?? money is tight and wife gettin' ready to have knee surgery so can't be throwin' money at it... That's why i have turned to the mj gods for help thanks in advance
  8. hey guys i just picked up a 86 2.5 2wd auto for 150.00 dollars body is a little beat up but not bad for the money truck has 189,000 but engine is a reman with 22,000 is there anything i need to know about it mechanically i have had 7 4.0 litre jeeps but never a 2.5 she runs good but idles rough thanks shane
