  1. No not Sears Roebuck. Owned by Waldo Ward Sears. From his obituary "In 1938, Mr. Sears founded Sears Auto Sales in East Sandwich, which became a Jeep dealership in 1946, the oldest in the United States. He retired in 1978." Not sure if it was the oldest Jeep dealer though. I remember it in the 70's and 80's the lot was full of Wagoneers and FSJ pickups though. Was last known as Premier Jeep and it is now a used car lot located on route 6A in East Sandwich, MA.
  2. 1987 2.5 4 cylinder, automatic, RWD. 92,000 original miles. Base Sportruck, original paint, completely stock, no rust and have build sheet. Truck is originally from Cape Cod. Owned since 2008. Has been used in several movies in Massachusetts as background as the directors love its patina. Driven year round and close by Crown Jeep parts.
  3. As the owner of a 2020 Gladiator Sport S (JT) and a 1987 Comanche I noticed the JT already has a factory bed lock (68369041AB) aka Tailgate Pivot lock. The part was less than $7 at the dealer. I just flattened it a little and screwed it in and it does the trick in slowing down the tailgate theft.
