Thanks! I will look at the lines and get a map. I'm not sure what type of TPS I got, it was one from AutoZone I believe.

I took the carb apart and cleaned it all with carb cleaner. I bought a kit and replaced all the parts it came with. Some times the jeep doesn't act up but that's rare. It seems to stay a pretty constant problem. I was thinking, maybe it's the idler control and maybe that bar comes out and hits the throttle and causes a lower supply of fuel.. Iv unplugged it and drove it around but no change at all. It doesn't idle great.. won't stall out often but it's low.

Hello, I have a 87 Comanche 2.5l base... I have been having trouble with the throttle. I start out and it's fine if I keep my foot on the gas (especially with some load) once I let off the gas a little it acts like it's starving for fuel or atleast dying.. I have to push the throttle down all the way and then it kicks back up and runs fine.. interstate driving is fine but in the city with all the stopping and speed limits, I'm not able to keep the throttle down, so it acts up. Please help! I have rebuilt the carb, replaced the throttle position sensor and the fuel filter...
