Hey guys,
From Alberta, Canada here. I've been looking for a Comanche since I was a kid. I ended up getting an XJ randomly and doing small upgrades, and its slowly snowballed into a gongshow....Now that it is pretty much complete and taking me on a camping trip before winter hits here ( Winter months September to June :rotfl2: here.....) I am going to start working on this Comanche and try to revive it. The worst of it looks to be motor work, it does not run but a compression test came out healthy.
The Comanche is a 1989 Pioneer with Dana 44, Manual trans, HP30 and its a shortbox. Pretty much everything I wanted. It for sure needs new floor pans and passenger window, and e-brake is stuck down...I assume it was cut and the pedal is stuck down due to no release handle. The hood release cable was also cut. Rear window needs to be re-installed. Other than these things it looks like a decent pickup for $600 CAD. Oh and it came with a set of 33's, which i'll use as a spare set for my XJ...
Here are a few photos....
