Hey everyone, So this is my first post here and would like to say Hi. My name is Mike and I am from Vancouver, BC. Until about two weeks ago I didn't even know a Jeep pickup existed until I came across one on CL. I was browsing for an XJ and then I saw a Comanche and was like woah a pickup Jeep, how cool. So I messaged the guy and well, here I am.
Here is some details of the MJ
1991 Comanche
4.0L replaced from a 1993 Jeep TJ with 138k kilometers
5 speed ax-15 trans
Rebuilt Dana 35 rear end
2wd Short Box
One rusty rocker and dents and dings all over it.
Wiring/half @$$ repairs all over it
Paid $1k Canadian plus a $150 tow bill
So here are a couple pics of the beauty
And here we go...
Found a donor XJ with a mint gray interior that I will swap the Buckets/console/dash etc.
My plans for the Comanche are
97-01 Front end conversion
Replace basically everything that needs replacing
Interior swap
Get all dents fixed and repaint
New rims and tires
Design a custom decal set for it
Bed liner
Interior rust proofing
This one is close to what I want it to look like
I think the Comanche would look good with my other two vehicles
My XJ
And my even more rare pickup
My Syclone
So I am really looking forward to any advise/tips I can have and will do my best to help out in any way I can and I will update stuff as I go.
THanks
Mike
