I just like the 4.0. I trust it. I have had 3 wranglers, and xj with the 4.0 with no issue. I am just seeing a lot of 4 cylinder with everything I want except the 4.0.I can't find what I am looking for. Just curious what I would need to change. Would it be the same if its an 86 with the 2.8 to a 4.0?

I am looking for Comanche and I see a lot more 4 cylinder than in line 6 that I want. What would I need other than engine to swap a 2.4 with a 4.0? A list of parts would be helpful and any tips on doing it would be most helpful.

Looking for a comanche. I am located in the Greenville, SC. I have been looking for weeks now. Needs 4.0 Inline 6, 5-speed, 4wd. Id prefer no major upgrades and no lifts over 3inches if possible. Thanks

KJ1H, good looking ride. I am new here too. I don't have a comanche yet but I am looking for one. I have had 89 cherokee, 2 2001 wrangler TJs and I currently have a 04 wrangler rubicon.
