  1. MJanky it doesn't seem to be. Bignuke and kudo I'll have to check them not sure if they are tight Cruiser54 bi**hin info man thanks for the site!
  2. So I have an 88 comanche 4.0 5 speed with 137k. At idle it doesn't stay consistent. It will idle ok then drop off like it's gonna stall then jumps back up high for a little then drops back down to normal idle. It has new vacuum lines, plugs & wires, cap & rotor. Checked the fuel pressure and seems normal. Have any of you guys experenced the same issue and if so what was the cause and cure?
  3. I've shortened drive shafts before, so that's not a big deal, just wanted to see if there was a quicker and easier solution...
  4. I'm in the process of swapping my 2wd short bed to 4wd. And no one seems to have a rear drive shaft. Is there any other drive shafts that will fit without modification?
  5. So here's my thoughts correct me if I'm wrong. I have a 2wd jeep mj that I'm swapping to 4wd and lifting at the same time. SOA nets about 5.5 inches regardless of the spring. And they base lift coils off of 4wd heights. If I use 4.5 inch coils (5.5 over 2wd) and soa in the rear (also 5.5 over 2wd) with xj shackles it should sit level? Any flaws anyone see?
  6. Thanks. Kinda new to the whole forum thing. Not sure where and how to find stuff.
  7. I need the measurement from the rear fender well down to the center of the wheel on a 2wd short bed mj?
  8. I cut mine at least three times before I got it where I wanted, I'm slowly gathering parts to LSx swap it in the spring. As for the wheel it took me a little to get used to them, may go with a wider tire eventually. But for what I paid for them I couldn't pass it up
  9. Ya beat me to the white! Clean mj man! I'm gonna end up painting mine white to match the yj. And I think just a 4.0 zj
  10. Hella flush bro...no just kiddin...I got a good deal on the wheels and they had brand new tires...once these are done I'm getting a wider tire

  12. All it needed when I got it was a good bath and the inside cleaned, and a coolant reservoir. I drove the jeep around for a while and fell in love. Then being the person I am, can't leave well enough alone, started looking for race jeep parts. First order of business was wheels. A friend of mine had a set of 18x10 xxrs with 245/35/r18s. I sat them up next to the jeep, and thought meh, maybe once it's lowered it will look better. Before I could buy them from him he sold the 240 they were on, bummer...so I got a hold of the guy who bought the car, a few FB messages and a 4 hour drive to Maryland they were mine Bought some lug nuts...threw them on and thought oh gawd what have I done... This isn't gonna work so that weekend I was in the garage thinking how am I gonna lower this thing, so I got a set of rear zj coils and started there, wasn't happy so I cut 2 coils off, pulled 2 leafs out of the back (don't worry, this isn't permanant) and added 2 inch blocks Starting to look better, but was about at the limit with the front track bar clearance. But I was happy at this point
  13. Since I already have a LS swapped YJ on 37s, it was time for something different. I wanted something low and fast, but couldn't decide what I wanted. So a buddy of mine comes up to me and says "hey, wanna long arm one of my MJ's?" long story short I ended up with this gem as payment, a pratically rust free 2wd 4.0 5 speed 1988 Comanche with 128k
