On a 4WD is the rear axle mounted above or below the leaf springs?

Well my new baby is home, and I'm scared to death. Absolutely nothing is hooked up at all on it!!! Most of the parts from under the hood are in the bed! OK...I could use a little help, if any of you have ANY pics at all showing wiring etc. under the hood it would be of great help. The guy had 2 88s, one was a 6 cyl auto, 2wd, and now this one is a 4 cyl 4spd with a 4wd drivetrain and suspension, for the most part. The entire under-hood wiring harness was just laying on top of the engine in a pile. You can imagine the headache trying to figure out what goes where, not to mention everything under the dash is unplugged and most of the components from in there are also in the back of the truck! Anyway thanks in advance for ANY help you can possibly give :)

I have wanted a truck forever, then my husband, being an AMC nut, introduced me to a Comanche and I fell in love. I found one for $500, it will be quite a project, but it is complete, just disassembled. The body is in really good shape for an 88. It was originally a 2WD truck with a 6 Cyl automatic, it now has a 4 Cyl 4 Spd with a 4WD drive train bolted in. I get to pick it up Thursday, until then I am going crazy. I just wanted to share my excitement with everybody, I am sure I will be bothering you all on here for advice the further I get into this project.

Does anybody happen to have the Comanche Club logo, but a much bigger version?
