  1. Thanks for all the help I received from you guys. like I had mentioned the first thing I did before even making an account with you is read the tips and searched the fourm. I know reading and doing are different things. none of the tips were my problem (even though they all help with furture problems) I knew that before I even posted. I fixed the issue.
  2. The first thing I did before creating an account was read though those tips. I have done most already. the video show the exact problem. what I can't figure out is that before doing the iac pressing the clutch raised the rpm after replacing it the same action cause the truck to die. what can cause the clutch to have any effect on the idle?
  3. youtube link I also went though the tips the tps was low 4.8 ---> .33 so I adjusted that i did not see anything else that would explain why pressing the clutch would cause this.
  4. I Had a low idle problem to make it idle higher I would do nothing but press the clutch, That would prevent the jeep from staling. I did not like having to hold the clutch at stops to prevent it from stalling. I replaced the idle air control valve. This caused the idle to return to normal. Now when I press the clutch the motor sputters and dies completely. 1988 4.0L man. 4wd. Any Ideas?
