I Had a low idle problem to make it idle higher I would do nothing but press the clutch, That would prevent the jeep from staling. I did not like having to hold the clutch at stops to prevent it from stalling. I replaced the idle air control valve. This caused the idle to return to normal. Now when I press the clutch the motor sputters and dies completely. 1988 4.0L man. 4wd. Any Ideas?
