  1. I'm wondering if anybody has adapted the HD offroad stiffeners to an MJ? I don't know how the "frame" rail is shaped compared to an xj, but thought maybe I could use these and just cut them off at the back of the cab? These are the ones I'm looking at: http://hdoffroadengineering.myshopify.com/products/xj-frame-stiffeners
  2. Thank you, thats a start at least
  3. I am ready to put my seats into my MJ that I've been building, the studs are there in the floor but I don't have the nuts. Anybody know off hand what size/pitch they are? I have a big bucket of bolts and nuts in the garage and nothing fits that I've tried.
  4. I swapped in a complete 95 4.0 drivetrain/interior and all wiring and am using the original MJ renix fuel pump and sending unit. I think the issue may have been old gas in the tank and also my TPS. Thanks for the help with the tank vacuum lines.
  5. Original MJ pump and sending unit, I believe part of my problem may be the TPS again.
  6. Anybody? Really would just like to see how the two vacuum lines come out of the tank and go into the evap canister
  7. After completing a complete drivetrain swap from a 95 XJ into my 87 MJ I'm experiencing a rough idle that almost seems like low fuel pressure. I can hear a hissing noise coming from near the gas tank which I assume is the vacuum lines on the fuel tank, they are not connected to the evap canister right now. Anyone have some pics of how these should connect, and if this would cause a fuel pressure problem?
  8. I'm considering using some steel diamond plate to replace the floors, have seen it done in a friends XJ and it looks nice and strengthens the unibody a bit. Fully welded around the edge of the pan and along the uniframe rail from underneath. That being said, the brace in my MJ's floor is already gone because someone "replaced" the floor before with a Mobil gas sign and some screws.
  9. So its not that big of a deal to make XJ pans fit? Just a bit of shaping, or are they way off?
  10. What did you have to modify? I'm debating on these or just making my own sheet metal ones.
  11. Any insight as to where MJ floor pans can be bought? Rockauto has them listed, but they're the same part numbers as the XJ ones, so they aren't real MJ ones.
