Yeah I live in Tacoma. I usually go wheeling at Tahuya or Evans Creek. Couple of my friends go out to Elbe, I've never been there. Never been to Walker either. Looks fun. I'll have to see if anyone from down here wants to head out there sometime. I need to reverse my SOA before I go though, the PO did the SOA flip and it looks horrible. It's at an irritating rake at the moment. Going to save up for a 6.5" long arm kit and then flip the axle back to SOA.

I finally got an MJ, I've had XJ's but I've always wanted an MJ so picked this thing up for $800 with a bad clutch slave cylinder and fixed it. Just got it back on the road and ready to go wheeling.

Ok, so I ended up getting it figured out. The shifter wasn't lining up with the slots in the transmission. I toyed around with it for awhile and finally got it going. Thanks for the responses and help.

Ok so I just got an 88 Manche and I picked it up for cheap due to clutch issues and I've started working on the issues but now I'm having an issue with the transmission. When I got it it shifted fine but I had to take it the transmission out to change out the slave cylinder and now it will not shift. It's in neutral and will not shift into any gear. I'm no transmission tech but I've dealt with a few in the past and normally even if the transmission has a bad synchro or even if its blown it will still shift into other gears, so my question why is it not going into any gear? I need to this transmission to get me by till I can get a AX15 in a few months.
